George Harrison, like all of them, was born and raised in Liverpool. After diligent efforts to be accepted into the Quarrymen, he became a fully active member. He became a very talented guitar and sitar player for the Beatles in the bigtime. "Don't Bother Me," was his first song to be put on one of their records, "Please Please Me." "Something," was his first creation to be put on side one. Though he did write many songs, very few were put on albums, and of those, few are recognised.
